What motivated you to become a councillor?
I wanted to have a voice on local issues after seeing the impact of Council decisions, so decided to get involved myself.
Background outside the council
I work as a Court Associate at Birmingham Magistrates Court, after spending 8 years supervising offenders for the Probation Service, both in Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
Hobbies or interests
Outside work and Council, I am a keen follower of Aston Villa, and also love rugby and cricket. I also sing and play guitar at a local church in Lichfield.
