What motivated you to become a councillor?
After spending some years as a Parish Councillor decided to stead my wings and become a District Councillor as were we beginning to see potential changes to our two Villages and I wanted to ensure a local voice was heard at Lichfield.
Background outside the council
Worked as man and boy for HSBC Bank Plc for over 43 years working my way from Bank Post Man to Retail Branch manager at a number of Branches in the West Midlands.
Hobbies or interests
I now enjoy spending time with my six grandchildren, and we have recently acquired a T5 Campervan that Sonia and I are looking forward to spending even more time in Cornwall as well as touring around the rest of the UK. I also enjoy playing and watching sport and I am still playing football (once a week) I have a season ticket with Chasetown FC. Apart from sport i also enjoy relaxing and working in my garden at home.
