What motivated you to become a councillor?
Being born and bred in Chasetown, I wanted to make a positive change for the area and saw being a Councillor as a platform to achieve this.
I am very proud of being key in getting 13 community defibs installed around Burntwood.
Background outside the council
I have worked since i was 18 in the window blind industry, I worked my way up from Admin Apprentice to Managing Director. I have been treasurer of the Grangemoor WMC for 15 years and a School Governor for 8 years.
Hobbies or interests
I have lots of interests from Reading to playing pool. I have completed 3 Marathons. I also enjoy technology and using computers.
