What motivated you to become a councillor?
I have worked in Community Groups for some time and see the value of trying to help residents in a number of ways and to make the area a better place to live and flourish.
Background outside the council
My background was is in the Banking Industry for over 25 years and then a senior manager in the financial services industry. I have been self employed as a management consultant for over 10 years. I also sit as a Parish Councillor as well as a Trustee of Stonnall Community Centre, a Director of a road safety group called SCAR and an active member of The Shire Oak Quarry Liaison Group.
Hobbies or interests
I am a qualified football referee, watch most sports and also enjoy playing golf and generally finding ways to keep fit and active. I have a very busy domestic work life, especially looking after my young grandchildren and various DIY projects.
