What motivated you to become a councillor?

I love where I live, I've grown up here, raised a family here and now I want to give back to a community that has supported and given me so much.

Background outside the council

I'm a proud mum to three great grown up kids who flown the nest. I live in Burntwood with my husband who is also a councillor. I work as a marketing, PR and Brand Manager in Birmingham. I am passionate about wellbeing and people, I am one of the founders of the Burntwood menopause Support group.

Hobbies or interests

My hobbies include yoga and meditation, walking, swimming and generally and keeping fit. Festivals, live music, ballet and anything arty! And most of all spending time with friends and family.
