What motivated you to become a councillor?

I have a deep-rooted passion for serving the public and making a positive difference in people's lives.

Background outside the council

After dropping out of university, I set up my first telecoms business and cashed out in 2000, which is when I moved to Lichfield. I then did the same in 2007, which is when I joined Lichfield Round Table, probably most well-known locally for the Santa Sleigh in December. I wanted to put something back into the community I became chairman of that group in 2012 and then went on to become National President in 2018. After retiring from the organisation, I was elected to the Fradley & Streethay Parish Council where I met some awesome Lichfield District Councillors who inspired me to stand for the District Council.

Hobbies or interests

I love to travel and am a bit of a food lover.
