20/00359/FULM - Land North of Dark Lane, Alrewas

Variation of conditions 2 (approved plans), 6 (drainage) and 13 (landscaping) of permission 18/01491/FULM relating to plot substitution of 52 of the approved 121 dwellings, updated landscaping and drainage schemes.

FOR: Crest Nicholson Midlands

RESOLVED: That the planning application be refused for the following reasons:

1.     The proposal would result in a housing mix that would not be compliant with policy H1 of the Lichfield Local Plan Strategy 2008-2029 and Policy HP2 of the Alrewas Neighbourhood Plan, as there would be a further reduction in the number of smaller homes and delivery of more 4 and 5 bedroom dwellings.  The development would not therefore deliver a balanced housing market, contrary to the adopted development plan policies.
